Introducing..........

We would like you to meet Reba. She is the only survivor of a litter of four, and orphaned at six days. Reba's beautiful CH mother from Storyland Shelties (Gayle Rizzo) had cancer unknown to us. She stopped eating , and we kept checking for everything possible. Cancer was the thing we least expected. It was a devastating ending for a beautiful dog. Reba started out at a feisty three and half oz, and had a will to live. It is a tragic story, but Reba was a fighter, and has made it to fourteen inches of pure energy and attitude.  She is named after the song from that famous country , spunky singer, Reba McEntire.

The BIG news is that Reba went fourth in a quality packed 6 to 9 month sable puppy class at the 2009 ASSA NATIONAL SPECIALTY !!  Her 'Grandma' Rizzo was there to watch with some friends, so it was an emotional and bittersweet win. We were all so proud...and many tears were shed.. We hope Reba can keep her mother's 'Legacy' going, and Brit will live on through her.
