Lauren got her start in the dog show world at the age of five,after watching Angela Littleton show in Jr. Handling. Lauren returned home and began grooming and pulling her stuffed toy dog around the basement. Lauren's first show was at the age of 5 in the Gem City match in Dayton, Ohio. She needed help to get the dog on the table. Finally, after many wins at matches and at the young age of 8, Lauren started her career in the big ring. After years of practice, and help from many well known professional handlers,( including working for Diane Steele), Lauren has started her career as a young exhibitor. Lauren would like to thank Diane for her expert advice and great mentoring. With Diane's help, Lauren is becoming quite successful in handling and grooming all breeds of dogs. She will never have enough words to express her gratitude to Diane!
